		<description><![CDATA[Tweet There is nothing normal or standard about an AMG car, especially not a top of its line SLK55 AMG car. However, the wizards at AMG have practiced some of their black magic on the SLK55 AMG and come out with something even more sinister and even more magical! Meet the SLK55 AMG Black series. The car is appropriately named after the color of death which is just an indication of the sheer number of kills this car will attain while on mission. AMG calls this car &#8220;The perfect mix of performance, handling, and lightweight design&#8221; To start off, the car different from the standard AMG (and I use the word standard loosely), with a redesigned front end, fenders and roof. However, all these modifications are not boy-racer influence changes as with every change, the AMG studio has employed the &#8216;function is form&#8217; methodology. Thus carbon fiber cooling ducts have been added to the widened front bumper to improve cooling and airflow to the factory oil coolers. Two completely new carbon fiber fenders are on the car including cooling slits for added oil coolers for both the transmission and the high performance power steering. The roof is made of a [...]
