		<description><![CDATA[Tweet Ever since its Iconic appearance in “Pretty Woman” the movie, lotus has positioned itself in the mind of millions as the sexy sports car. The resemblance doesn’t stop there as lotus has always produced lightweight, purposeful, curvy, and very intelligent vehicles. The fact that lotus uses very little power (but a surgically honed power to weight ratio) has dropped it out of the supercar market of big engines and unobtainable top speeds and into the market of true purpose built track cars. However, don’t let the modest power figures and reduced top speeds fool you, on the track this car is as nimble and as super as any of the so called ‘supercars’.                  In its latest series of cars the Elise and the Exige lotus has used as its core competence the lightweight all aluminum 2zzge Toyota engine, coupled with roots type supercharger performance delivering both a high power to the weight drive train package as well as an all linear power band for the most predictable driving experience.
